1. Introduction
DNBA Entertainment Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as DnB Allstars, is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses dnballstars.london, signs up for our events, or receives our messages.
This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Where you are in the EU or EEA, the EU GDPR gives you the same rights described here.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We do not treat your use of this website as consent. Where we need consent, we ask for it through a clear, affirmative action from you.
2. Personal data we collect
2.1 What you give us
When you sign up for DnB Allstars New Year's Eve on this site, we collect:
- your first and last name
- your email address
- your mobile number and its country dialling code
- a record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, the version of that wording, and the date and time you agreed
When you contact us, we collect whatever you choose to include in your message. When you buy a ticket, the ticketing platform collects your purchase details (see section 6).
2.2 What we collect automatically
When you visit this site or sign up, we collect:
- your approximate location (country and city), worked out from your IP address by our hosting provider at the moment you sign up
- campaign details from the link you arrived on, such as UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers
- technical data such as browser, device type, operating system, pages viewed and the referring website
2.3 What our messages tell us
When we email or message you, our marketing platform records whether a message was delivered, opened or clicked, and whether you unsubscribed. We use this to stop sending to people who are not engaging and to improve what we send.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have checked that our interests do not override your rights. You can ask for details of that check by emailing privacy@dnballstars.com.
4. Marketing consent
We only send you marketing by email, SMS or WhatsApp if you tick the consent box on our sign-up form. The box is never ticked for you. The wording you agree to is:
"I have read the Privacy Policy & consent to receive marketing communications about this event from DnB Allstars by Email, SMS & WhatsApp. Opt out anytime."
SMS and WhatsApp messages about the event may include ticket links, lineup and set-time news, reminders and offers. Message frequency varies and your network's standard rates may apply.
4.1 Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it:
- Email: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
- SMS: reply STOP to any message.
- WhatsApp: reply STOP to any message, or block our number.
- Or email privacy@dnballstars.com and we will remove you from every list.
We act on requests within 48 hours. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it.
4.2 Other DnB Allstars events
Signing up here covers this event. If you buy a ticket from us, we may also tell you about similar DnB Allstars events under the "soft opt-in" in PECR Regulation 22(3), unless you opted out when you bought or later. Every such message includes a free, simple way to opt out.
5. WhatsApp Community
After you sign up we offer a link to our NYE WhatsApp Community. Joining is optional and separate from the sign-up form. The Community runs on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy. When you join, the Community admins can see your WhatsApp name and number. You can leave the Community at any time from inside WhatsApp.
6. Who we share your data with
We never sell your personal data. Your text messaging opt-in and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the service providers below, who process it on our instructions under data processing agreements that meet UK GDPR Article 28:
- Klaviyo, Inc. (USA): stores your sign-up details and sends our emails, SMS and WhatsApp messages.
- Seeka / Converge: first-party measurement on this site. It records visits and sign-ups and passes conversion events to the advertising platforms below so we can measure our adverts.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): advertising measurement, custom and lookalike audiences, and WhatsApp message delivery.
- Google and TikTok: advertising measurement, when you arrive from one of their adverts.
- Vercel, Inc. (USA): hosts this website, keeps request logs for security, and provides privacy-friendly page analytics that do not use cookies.
When tickets go on sale, they are sold through FIXR, which acts as an independent data controller for your purchase and has its own privacy policy.
We may also share data where the law requires it, with professional advisers bound by confidentiality, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case we will tell you.

The measurement script loads only after you first scroll, tap or click. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and change your advertising preferences in your Meta, Google and TikTok accounts.
8. Advertising audiences
With your consent, we may upload hashed (scrambled) versions of your email address or phone number to advertising platforms so we can show you adverts about our events, or leave you out of adverts you do not need to see. The platforms may use this to build lookalike audiences of people with similar interests. To opt out, email privacy@dnballstars.com or change your ad preferences on the platform.
9. International transfers
Some of our providers, including Klaviyo, Vercel and Meta, process data in the United States. When we transfer your data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified) or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask for a copy of these safeguards by emailing privacy@dnballstars.com.

After that, we delete your data or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.

You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing at any time. We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
To use any of these rights, email privacy@dnballstars.com. We reply within one month. If a request is complex we may extend that by up to two more months, and we will tell you within the first month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
12. Children
This site and our marketing are not aimed at children, and entry to our events is subject to age restrictions with valid photo ID. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
13. Security
We protect your data with technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, restricted access to our marketing platform, spam and abuse protection on the sign-up form, and processors bound by data processing agreements. No system is perfectly secure, but we review these measures regularly.
14. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please email privacy@dnballstars.com first so we can put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF, telephone 0303 123 1113, or online at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. If you live in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We post every change on this page with a new date, and if a change materially affects how we use your data, we will make reasonable efforts to tell you directly.
